Netfirms - nf1.hostpeek.com - no longer monitored

On this page you will find the monitoring results and other details regarding a Netfirms Linux shared hosting account that I maintained with them, specifically, a "Netfirms Plus" package. I have used the HOTDEALS coupon code, for 25% off the price.

They're located in Canada, and I thought I should make quick note of that, as it may be important for some. The main issue I've had with them was a weird FTP error, where the uploads would just freeze, the connection would then be reset and the re-upload would then fail for some weird reason. It turned out that the file was actually uploaded the first time around, and the overwrite wasn't working as expected. In any case, it was annoying as the upload of thousands of files for Joomla, Wordpress etc. takes a lot of time due to all the timeouts, and it is the only host I've ever had this issue with. They were not able to help beyond suggesting switching to passive mode. I tried different FTP clients and the same thing happened.
