On this page you will find the monitoring results and other details regarding a HostMonster Linux shared hosting account. Both HostMonster and Bluehost have the same owner, use the same infrastructure, and usually have similar pricing (excepting a sale from time to time), so the figures and information here can be considered as pertaining to both of them. Their SimpleScripts applications installer is pretty nice and the scripts kept up to date, unlike the ubiquitous Fantastico.

I have maintained an account with them between June 2009 and May 2011. In the autumn of  2010 the company was bought by EIG, a group that owns a lot of of other hosts as well. Things took a gradual turn for the worse since this ownership change took place, as you'll be able to see from the charts below.
